Vauxhall Elementary School**-**Vauxhall Elementary School is an Early Learning to Grade 6 school. Our staff of 25 provide service for approximately 140 students from Vauxhall and area. We are located in Vauxhall, approximately 20 minutes north of Taber.

Temporary 1.0FTE Teacher- Grade 6 classroom & Grade 3 Art

**Assignment Includes-**We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered educator to join our team in a newly created Grade 6 teaching position. This role has been established to support our growing learners and reflects our commitment to providing responsive, high-quality instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students.

The successful candidate is an energetic and engaging teacher who builds strong, positive relationships with students and creates a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. Strong classroom management skills are essential, with the ability to establish clear expectations while fostering independence, responsibility, and a sense of belonging.

A deep understanding of effective literacy and numeracy instruction is critical. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong ability to design and deliver purposeful, differentiated instruction that supports student growth in reading, writing, and mathematics. Using assessments to inform instruction, they are responsive to student needs and committed to helping every learner achieve success.

As a collaborative team member, the successful applicant works closely with colleagues, educational assistants, and school leadership to support student learning and well-being. A willingness to plan collaboratively, contribute to team discussions, and engage in ongoing professional growth is essential.

This position commences onMarch 9, 2026, and concludes onJune 19, 2026.
