Are you an experienced RN/RPN looking for an innovative opportunity to provide hospital-level care in a home setting? We are looking for driver Nurses in the following areas: Hawkesbury, Prescott Russell, Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. Our program extends into the community, providing safe and high-quality care for patients outside traditional hospital walls. As an RN/RPN, you will work closely with physicians, and nurse practitioners to deliver nursing care to patients in their homes.?

CBI Home Health is looking to hire casual Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse in Hawkesbury, Prescott Russell, Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry.
Compensation Range: The hourly rate range for this position is $29.20 to $42.68 per hour.

Work Assignment: Visit Nurse (RN and RPN)
Status: Part Time
Schedule: flexible day shifts from 0800-1600, every second weekend 0800-1600 .

What you will do:
Every day will be different! As a Community Nurse (RN/ RPN), you will make a difference in the lives of people within their homes, schools (pediatric) and other community locations. You will be able to apply your clinical skills in areas such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, pediatric care, tube feeding and medication administration, as well as health teaching. Your person and family centered approach to care will guide your decision making and facilitate collaborative care with each member of the interdisciplinary team. Your managers and peers are easily accessible to you to provide mentorship and support for ongoing development and clinical excellence. Your critical role of home health care supports the larger health system, and you will demonstrate confidence in navigating clients and families to other resources to help them meet their goals.
What you will need to be successful:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a MUST
- Professional Liability Insurance (WeRPN/RNAO)
- Palliative training is considered an asset
- Pediatric experience is considered an asset
- A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening results in the past 12 months
- Proof of negative TB test and professional liability insurance
- Ability to travel independently within the community
- A valid driver's license (G2/G) and vehicle insurance are required
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, bilingual in French an asset
