About the role
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will report to the VP of Finance and support the optimization of the organization's operational and financial performance.
In this strategic role, you will have a direct and measurable impact on value creation by combining a rigorous analytical approach with solid financial expertise and advanced mastery of data and analytical tools. You will actively contribute to defining, prioritizing and delivering high-value-added continuous improvement initiatives, in addition to supporting the VP Finance and their team in the monthly financial activity cycle.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and sources of variability using factual data.
Develop and deploy tools and processes to enhance financial workflows and management reporting within the finance function.
Develop and deploy advanced financial analyses to support decision-making and the prioritization of initiatives.
Build, monitor, and optimize financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
Translate operational challenges into concrete financial impacts through P&L analysis, financial modelling, and the development of robust business cases.
Prepare executive presentations for monthly financial reviews, as well as for other analyses and special projects.
Collaborate with and influence teams to support continuous improvement, foster the adoption of recommendations, and contribute to change management.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A passion for building financial tools and models, as well as analyzing and optimizing business processes.
Curiosity, an analytical mind, and structured thinking, with the ability to transform data into clear and actionable insights.
Solid financial expertise combined with a drive to create measurable value.
Proficiency in analytical and data tools, including advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL, as well as platforms such as Alteryx, Dataiku, or KNIME.
The ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally with empathy, initiative, and the aptitude to simplify financial and analytical concepts for operational teams.
Results-oriented, tenacious, and resilient, with a passion for continuous improvement and change management support.
Qualifications
A university degree in finance, analytics, administration, or a related field.
Relevant experience in process improvement, business analytics, performance finance, or operational excellence.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies, Value Stream Mapping, and performance tools.
English proficiency is required for this position, as regular collaboration with non-French-speaking analytical teams, partners, and platforms will be necessary in an international context.
