Inspired by the words of Saint John Paul II, “Be Not Afraid”, Saint John Paul II Academy, a Catholic independent co-educational 8-12 high school located in South Surrey, seeks to prepare students to be joyful witnesses to the Gospel, firmly grounded in the teachings of the Jesus Christ and the mission of the Catholic Church. We encourage students to embrace their faith with courage, defend the dignity of every human life, and live as missionary disciples who seek to build a civilization of love. Our holistic approach to Catholic education includes vibrant extracurricular programming in the areas of athletics, arts, and campus ministry. Successful candidates will have a passion to contribute to our growing community in the extracurricular life of the school as coaches, staff coordinators and program leaders. Position Details
We are currently seeking dynamic Catholic teachers to become part of our growing community and faculty in the following subject areas:
- Career Education
- ADST 8 and 9
- Visual Arts
- Sciences
- Mathematics
- Physical Education
The willingness and ability to teach across subject areas is an asset - we are a growing school and our staff teach a variety of courses. Priority will be given to candidates who are practicing Catholics in addition to holding a British Columbia Certificate of Qualification.
As an affiliate school, our compensation package, including salary and benefits, is the same as that of CISVA. Resumes and cover letters can be sent directly to Mr. Anthony Walters principal@sjp2academy.com
