Digital Marketing Coordinator
About the role
Digital Marketing Coordinator – 30 hours per week for 10 weeks. Starting at $21/hour.
As a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Family Solutions Group in Edmonton, AB, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to Make Wellness Possible by assisting with our comprehensive communications and marketing strategy.
You will gain hands-on experience in a professional marketing and communications role while supporting FSG’s multiple service agencies (Crossroads Family Services, Kells Psychology, Family Solutions Group, and RAE Institute). Tasks include, but are not limited to, maintenance and design of our websites, managing paid and organic social media content, monitoring digital campaign performance on platforms such as Google Ads and Analytics, and more.
This is a 10-week temporary position, ending no later than August 31, 2026. Current or recently graduated post-secondary students would be ideal for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies across FSG agencies
- Plan, execute and optimize multi-channel paid and organic digital marketing campaigns that drive engagement and community awareness
- Track campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEO, and SMO techniques
- Interpret data insights and create performance reports for stakeholders
- Edit and enhance WordPress websites with focus on user experience, SEO best practices, accessibility, and responsive design
- Manage and engage with paid and organic social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Develop and maintain posting schedules for each agency profile, while applying platform-specific best practices to increase audience engagement
- Create marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) while maintaining visual consistency and brand identity across all communications
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience managing WordPress websites, Meta Ads, Meta Business Suite, MailChimp, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and performance software to maximize outreach and engagement.
- Experience with photography, videography, and editing is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint is an asset.
