SUMMARY – Forklift Operator

Shift: Monday to Friday; 19:00 - 03:00

TransX has an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Dock team in the Vaudreuil-Dorion Terminal. We are looking for an individual that is strong, active, and possesses a solid work ethic.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Loading/unloading containers and trailers
• Organizing the warehouse
• Using a forklift
• Other general labor duties such as stacking, wrapping and warehouse cleaning

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education

• Forklift certificate, WHMIS, TDG certifications
• Must have completed high school or equivalent.

Experience

• Two years’ experience in a cross dock/fast-paced warehouse machine operator role
• Experience stacking different types of materials, including boxes, pallets, bins, etc.
• Experience working with frozen and refrigerated freight
• Positive attitude and personality, courteous manner, and flexibility
• High-attention to detail
• Consistently reliable and dependable
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Safety-first work style
