This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cision, Senior Sales Operations Analyst, Sales based in Canada. This role is a strategic opportunity to transform sales data into actionable insights that improve revenue performance and business decision-making. As part of a global Revenue Operations team, you will support sales leaders with reporting, forecasting, process optimization, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in improving pipeline visibility, seller productivity, and revenue predictability across multiple business areas. The position combines analytics, systems expertise, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment. You will partner with sales, finance, systems, and leadership teams to enhance processes and enable smarter business outcomes. Accountabilities The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will act as a trusted operational partner to sales leadership by delivering insights, improving processes, and enabling scalable sales execution. This role focuses on turning complex data into meaningful recommendations, maintaining operational discipline, and supporting strategic revenue initiatives. Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting on pipeline performance, bookings, forecasting, productivity, and key sales metrics. Prepare business reviews, quarterly reviews, and executive-level reporting materials for sales leadership. Improve data quality, governance, and accuracy across CRM and connected sales systems. Manage core sales operations processes, including account assignments, opportunity ownership, and rules-of-engagement administration. Support annual sales planning activities, including territory design, quota setting, capacity modeling, and ramp assumptions. Build and maintain Salesforce and business intelligence dashboards to enable self-service reporting for sales teams. Support account segmentation, enrichment initiatives, whitespace analysis, and territory optimization strategies. Collaborate with sales systems and IT teams on CRM and BI enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation. Create and maintain operational documentation, standard procedures, and process adoption guidelines. Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools to improve productivity and reduce manual processes. Analyze business trends and provide recommendations that help leaders make informed decisions. Requirements The ideal candidate is an experienced sales operations or revenue operations professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for improving business performance through data, systems, and process optimization. 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or a related analytical role. Experience supporting SaaS, subscription-based, or technology-driven businesses is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Strong Excel skills and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations. Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including building reports, dashboards, and managing sales processes. Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Looker. Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline analytics, and revenue performance metrics. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, multi-brand, and multi-region environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience with territory planning, sales compensation processes, or methodologies such as MEDDPICC is an advantage. Comfortable working independently, solving ambiguous problems, and collaborating across teams.
