3D Animation / Creative Director With 18+ years in 3D animation — spanning pharma, biotech, medical devices, kids television, documentaries, and major commercial productions — I founded Still Human Animation to do one thing well: turn technically dense subject matter into visuals that actually land with an audience. I've worked across the full spectrum of production — from internationally distributed kids TV series and Discovery Channel documentaries to CG supervision on large-scale studio pipelines. My work lives at the intersection of scientific accuracy and visual storytelling — whether that's a complex molecular animation, a medical device explainer, or a product launch that needs to feel premium from frame one. I work lean, I move fast, and I don't hand off projects I don't personally stand behind. I also bring an educator's perspective to every project, having built an active following teaching 3D production and AI workflows to creative professionals — which means I communicate clearly, collaborate well, and never make clients feel lost in the technical weeds. slide 2 of 3 I used Motionbox Studios to produce an animated video to show the use of the Rainbow Medical Devices Viscera Retainer. My Primary contact was Alex Gomez and I have to say the process was very straight forward and transparent. As this animation video was from scratch, Alex discussed with me the process of creating the video and what he needed to get started. He explained the various steps and time line for the animation to be created and we followed those steps to the completion of the video. I was supplied with various animated pictures and video clips along the way as well as various voices to select the audio voice over . I was able to make adjustments as the development went on and Alex was very easy to work with. He absorbed the information I gave him quickly and produced the video with all the input I gave him quickly with accuracy. I was very pleased with the quality of the video as well as the timeliness of completion and achieving the budget we set up front for the project. I would use Motionbox Studios again when I have another animation project to create. The animated videos have ranged from 30 minute highly technical with dense internal microbiology animation and scientific visuals (graphs, diagrams, etc) to short 2 minute more playful animal animation. We have also done quick and dirty animation through online US services and have been less than satisfied with the quality as well as the number of corrections necessary.
