Lead, mentor, coach and engage team members in both sales and personal growth while supporting the General Manager with Senior level initiatives. This role will also be an active participant of our Senior Leadership Team. Key Job Functions: Mentor and coach team members and serve as first point of escalation to team leads. Accountable for monthly sales growth metrics Develop and monitor regular client reports Pricing and special projects for PGL and/or main Polaris entity. Acquisition onboarding, training & development Support finance/administration/dock operations when required by enforcing established SOP's Risk Management - cargo insurance (HV), certifications (DG, etc...) Other duties as assigned Required Experience: · Excellent understanding and background in Transportation processes, procedures, regulations and regulatory requirements of the Ontario Highway Act, U.S Federal Motor Carrier’s Regulations. · 10+ years experience in the trucking industry with leadership positions; · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). · Problem solving skills · Reliable and trustworthy · Knowledge of Trans Plus/Logistics Manager, Loadlink & MS Office (Teams essential). ***TWM (Truckmate) operating system a benefit but not required*** No solicitations from employment agencies or third-party recruiters will be accepted. Candidates must have over 10 years of leadership experience in the trucking industry and a deep understanding of Ontario Highway Act and U.S. Federal Motor Carrier’s Regulations. Proficiency in logistics software such as Trans Plus, Loadlink, and MS Office is required.
