Full Description Ashworth Children's Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre located in the St. Vital community of Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are licensed by Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Manitoba, offering 133 licensed spaces for children from 3 months to 12 years of age. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our experienced educators foster learning through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships while supporting each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We value strong partnerships with families and are dedicated to providing high-quality early learning and child care that supports every child's unique potential. We strive for a circle of security approach in the work we do. The Manitoba Child Care Association acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the Red River Métis Homeland. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and we move forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
