If you are a clinic manager who likes innovation, technology, human connection and self-improvement, this opportunity might be well suited for you. We are looking for an experienced family medicine clinic manager, with knowledge of FHG, FHO and/or Fee-for-Service (FFS) models, to work on a freelance and fractional basis, taking care of the clinic management needs of individual family physicians. Instead of managing one clinic full-time, you would support several individual physicians, dedicating a portion of your time to each of them according to their needs. This allows each physician to benefit from experienced clinic management without needing to employ a full-time clinic manager. The role can be performed primarily remotely, although being based in Toronto or the GTA would be useful, as occasional clinic visits may be required. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY You will act as a fractional clinic manager for individual family physicians, taking responsibility for agreed aspects of their practice operations while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and create shared efficiencies across the physicians you support. This could include sharing administrative resources, improving technology and workflows, negotiating with suppliers, standardising processes, or finding other ways for independent physicians to benefit from economies of scale. The objective is to give each physician the management support they need while helping them reduce administrative workload and operating costs. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Previous experience managing an Ontario family medicine clinic Knowledge of FHG, FHO and/or FFS models Experience managing MOAs and administrative teams Experience establishing or improving clinic processes Experience setting up a new clinic or physician practice would be particularly valuable Comfortable working independently and supporting multiple individual physicians simultaneously Interested in technology, automation and operational efficiency Able to identify practical opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
