As a legal advisor, you will mainly be called upon to serve the company in the negotiation of equipment sales or lease contracts both in Canada and internationally, and to support various departments (HR, Procurement, Marketing, Finance and IT) as part of their respective initiatives. You will face a variety of challenges and will need to manage requests efficiently, prioritizing a wide range of files on a daily basis. You will offer constructive legal advice, with a practical and proactive approach to legal risk management, while supporting the growth and development of the company's business Your day will look like this: Continuously contributing to D365 F&O ERP evolution initiatives and to the development of other application solutions. You will be working closely with the Product Owners and development teams. Supporting the Scrum Master or Project Manager, you will help identify potential issues to ensure that business objectives, schedules and budgets are met and that the team is working efficiently. Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements, including equipment leases, sales and installations, construction, procurement, leases, as well as service and licensing agreements; Review and comment on tender documents (public and private); Act as a consultant to the company's departments, both in Canada and internationally, particularly on commercial, corporate, real estate, intellectual property and information technology law issues; Analyze and manage issues relating to the collection, use, transfer and protection of personal information; Ensure legislative monitoring of new laws and regulations applicable to the company's activities in Canada and internationally; Participate in the development and improvement of contract models, training and corporate policies, in line with current business needs and anticipated growth; Conduct legal research on various topics; Act proactively by developing strategies to prevent and reduce the risk of potential litigation and corporate liability; Coordinate the various litigation files entrusted to external law firms by ensuring effective communication and rigorous follow-up; and Support other members of the legal team. Your profile: Member of the Quebec Bar (Common Law will be considered an asset). Minimum of 5 years of experience in business law acquired in a large law firm or a litigation department of a large company.
