Extendicare is currently seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to support our ParaMed division. Based out of our Corporate Head Office in Markham ON, the Human Resources Manager partners with HRBP's to operationalize and align HR and business strategies. This role is critical in flawless execution of our people initiatives to enable the business in providing an exceptional employee experience. This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario . Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment. What You Will Do Act as a strategic partner for the Paramed Home Healthcare business and identify initiatives and opportunities to drive growth Participate on solving key people issues, identifying trends, and crafting solutions that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business Govern, design, plan and execute strategic HR initiatives and solutions and coordinate with HR Business advisors to implement at the branch level Present HR analytics with Workday data to business leaders and support effective use of insights to solve key business challenges and drive continuous HR improvement Ensure flawless execution of day-to-day HR, including engagement, succession planning, development planning, escalated ER/LR issues and intervention, recruitment and retention and policy development and HR process improvements; Investigate workplace allegations either whistleblower or employee concerns brought to HR's attention Partner with CoEs when business requirements indicate that a new program / policy is required and facilitate the interaction between CoEs and the business as the new programs / policies are being designed Coach and develop leaders to deliver people and change management capabilities to achieve required business outcomes, including assisting with stakeholder management and communications Work with business leaders and CoEs to handle escalated complex people related issue s Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate through the rest of HR (CoEs, HR Ops) What We Are Looking For University Degree or College Diploma with a focus in Human Resources CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset 5-7 years previous human resources experience, including a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience Working experience in a unionized environment is required Hands-on experience with innovative approaches to HR practice, change management and project management. Exigences
