What will you be doing? * Product design & development ownership * Generating creative design concepts according to the project objectives * Refining the concepts based on the requirements, limitations, and possibilities in the areas form, function, specifying, manufacturing, installation, practicality, etc. * Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams such as Design Engineering to make sure the technical aspects are all considered in the design process. * Creating all projects milestone presentations according to the department and corporate quality level, and to present the content to the internal and external stakeholders as needed. * Generating visual assets to communicate throughout the development process. * Leading creation process of all launch assets (renders, animations, etc.) as per project objectives. * Using every available tools (3D CAD modeling & rendering, mockup & prototype making, 3D printing, etc.) to ensure having all aspects of design process captured to have a "good design" for launch. What skills, experience and education are we looking for? * Bachelor degree in Industrial Design. * Expert user of SolidWorks, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft/Google office applications. * Full understanding of manufacturing processes for different materials * Hands-on experience of working on physical products development. * Technical design background is a huge asset. * Furniture and/or architectural products design and development background is an asset. * Healthcare design & development is an asset. * Good Project management skills and time management skills. * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising the quality or missing deadlines. * Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail * Proactive learner with a strong desire for continuous personal and professional growth. * Strong interpersonal skills paired with a positive attitude. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
