Description: Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement. Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse Union: COV AUPE AUX Unit and Program: 4Y Seniors Care Primary Location: Edmonton General EGCCC Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.40 Posting End Date: 20-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temporary Part Time Date Available: 10-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 15-DEC-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 10 Shifts per cycle: 20 Shift Pattern: Days, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Strong communication skills and compassionate patient-centered approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Exigences
