Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with a leading renewable energy organisation focused on sustainability, circular waste management and the development of innovative low-carbon energy solutions, to recruit a Maintenance Technician for its Drumbo, ON site. The Maintenance Technician role comes with a hourly rate between $40-$43ph, days shift pattern, opportunities for overtime and the chance to join a growing organisation at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities And Duties Of The Maintenance Technician Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will: Repair and maintain pumps, mixers and industrial equipment. Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Complete planned and reactive maintenance. Carry out emergency repairs when required. Maintain accurate parts and electrical supply levels. Keep maintenance areas clean, organised and safe. Support electrical and maintenance improvement projects. Work with site leadership to plan daily and weekly maintenance activities. Identify and report safety hazards and equipment defects. Promote a safe, efficient and well-maintained plant environment. Complete other maintenance duties as required. Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Around 3 years’ experience working with machinery within an industrial environment. A provincial Ontario Millwright licence would be highly desirable. An Ontario Industrial Electrician licence would be advantageous. Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Experience working with industrial equipment, pumps, mixers or material-handling systems would be beneficial. Salary And Benefits Of The Maintenance Technician Role $40.00- $43.00 per hour Days shift pattern Weekend working and overtime may be required depending on operational requirements.
