Position Description

The Continuous Improvement Engineer drives operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, leading Lean initiatives, and improving manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for someone analytical, hands-on, and passionate about reducing waste and improving performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production and service processes to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing or logistics issues.
• Deploy Lean/Six Sigma tools to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Logistics, IT, Facilities) on scalable process improvements.
• Develop and maintain standard work, documentation, and training materials.
• Use data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support layout planning, equipment installation, and capacity modeling.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with process mapping, time studies, and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power Apps/Power BI is a plus.
