About the role
Food & Beverage Front of House Description
Our Food and Beverage Front of House teams are always looking to provide the best experience to all of our guests in our many venues, and restaurants. The Restaurant Service teams provide enthusiastic customer service, resolve issues in a courteous manner, and contribute to Stampede’s world-renowned western hospitality. Here at Stampede, we provide exceptional service to our guests, clients, and internal departments. These positions are seasonal roles for the Calgary Stampede celebration in July 2026.
- Please note that some of these roles may require a valid ProServe certification and previous work experience in the role.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of our Front of House teams can include, but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests in a prompt and friendly manner
- Knowledgeable of menu and drink items being served in the venue and the ability to accommodate all special dietary requests and allergies
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Processing transactions and payments and handling cash
- Following laws and regulations in regards to liquor service
- Adhering to all safety and environmental programs and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Positions that work with the Stampede Food and Beverage Front of House teams include:
- Food Runner
- Host/Hostess
- Door Host
- Server (previous experience is required)
- Bus Person
- Floor and Event Supervisor (previous supervisory experience is required)
Please note that all applicants will be required to:
- Be 18 years of age or older by June 2026
- Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
- Have a Social Insurance Number
- Have a bank account in their own name
- Must successfully participate in a criminal background check
- Be available to work for all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede
- Complete and comply with all required training and policies
