We are seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our morning shift team . This role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance technicians with installation, repair, and servicing of industrial equipment and HVAC manufacturing machinery
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
• Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
• Assist in facility maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations (including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures)
• Transport tools, parts, and materials as required
• Document completed work and report issues to supervisors Support inventory management by tracking parts and supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is an asset
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand/power tools
• Willingness to learn industrial HVAC systems and maintenance practices
• CSA Approved steel toe safety footwear

Afternoon Shift:

• Morning Shift; Monday – Thursday, 6am – 3:30pm & Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
