About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Software Developer Summer Student will work as a member of the Software Development team on the development of a new web application and integrations to our ERP system. Applicants must have a strong interest in building web applications, software product development, and solving challenging problems in a team and/or individual setting.

What is the role?

• Develop intuitive user-interfaces that simplifies the user experience.

• Work with the Software Development team to create middle-layer integrations between our ERP system and a new client-facing web application.

• Contribute to the software development lifecycle practices.

• Produce technical documentation.

What do you need?

• Registered in a recognized university or college and working towards a degree in computer science or Information Technology related program

• Must be able to work full time between July 1 – August 31

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge of Angular or similar web frameworks

• Experience with C# .NET

• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript

• Experience querying databases (MSSQL or MongoDB preferred)

• Familiar with Agile/Kanban/Continuous Deployment

• Familiar with N-tier architecture and SaaS web architecture

• Familiar with Front End Design, responsive design, web services

• Excellent English (written and verbal)
