Master Craftsman Warranty Ltd, a division of Carrington Group of Companies, is the exclusive warranty provider to several single family and multi family residential new home builders in North/Central Alberta.

About the Position:
Reporting to the Warranty Manager, the Warranty Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of new home warranty, including correspondence and bookings of warranty appointments utilizing the company’s computer-based warranty program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Book and confirm appointments for the warranty department.
• Perform all data entry for the department.
• Send trade work orders, create back charges where appropriate and manage all correspondence
• Manage warranty technician calendars utilizing Microsoft Outlook
• Create and send Purchase Orders where required for trade work determine to be non-warranty.
• Track all open files to ensure timely completion.
• Distribute electronic incoming email and co-ordinate the flow of information using in-house software program
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completed post-secondary diploma or certificate in Office Administration or related academic field of study.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a customer service role in the new home construction warranty environment preferred.
• Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook required.
• Knowledge of residential building construction and Municipal Affairs Construction Performance Guidelines, desired.
• Experience using Warranty Software, such as Punchlist desired.
