About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Hardware Design Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electronic hardware, directly contributing to our next generation of market-leading products. Your expertise will drive the creation of robust and high-performance solutions that redefine industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex digital and analog circuits, including PCB schematic capture and layout.
- Conduct exhaustive hardware testing, debugging, and validation to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, software, mechanical) to define system specifications and integrate hardware components.
- Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis to optimize board performance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate electronic components, considering cost, availability, and technical specifications.
- Generate comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, and test plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in hardware design processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design, development, and testing of embedded systems.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Proven experience with high-speed digital design, including DDR, PCIe, and Ethernet interfaces.
- Deep understanding of analog circuit design, power management, and sensor interfacing.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with FPGA design and VHDL/Verilog.
- Knowledge of RF circuit design and antenna integration.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., CE, FCC, UL).
