About the role
As an Account Executive at Cursor, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth by building strategic relationships with customers and helping them realize the full potential of Cursor for their development teams. You’ll cover the full spectrum, from fast‑growing mid‑market to the world’s largest enterprises, adapting your playbook to each.
You'll work closely with engineering organizations to understand their development workflows, demonstrate how Cursor can transform their productivity, and guide them through the implementation and adoption process. This role combines technical understanding with sales expertise to help enterprises reimagine how software development can be accelerated with AI.
What you'll do
- Become a trusted product expert; guide prospects through trials, evaluations, and enterprise rollouts.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline, meeting and exceeding quarterly targets.
- Lead multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, and Legal.
- Develop executive relationships and day-to-day champions.
- Quantify value with clear ROI cases tied to developer productivity and AI adoption.
- Be the voice of the customer and influence the roadmap with actionable feedback.
- Partner closely with Field Engineering and Technical Account Managers to deliver outcomes from proof of concept to expansion.
