About the role
Office & Technology Clerk (Full-Time)
Maria Montessori Academy is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy professional for the new role of Office & Technology Clerk. This is a full- time, salaried position at our independent school in Victoria. We offer a team-centric, family-oriented environment with extended health benefits, paid sick time, and paid time off.
Position Overview
The Office & Technology Clerk is the bridge between our administrative workflows and technical systems. Your primary goal is to provide hardware and software support to the team and to streamline and optimize the processes listed below. You will work with two other full-time administrators to ensure these tasks are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities & Process Optimization
- Technology & Systems Support
- Provide day-to-day computer, hardware, and software support for students and teachers.
- Act as the lead for Office 365 support and access setup.
- Troubleshoot technological difficulties and maintain hardware/software systems.
- Coordinate specialized assistance with external partners like Blackman Support when necessary.
- Oversee the set up and take down of technical equipment for school events.
- Administrative Workflow Streamlining
You will collaborate with the office team to modernize and improve the efficiency of the following:
- Registration & Events: Streamline all program and event registration processes.
- Digital Forms & Automation: Coordinate the creation of digital forms and develop tools to automate the distribution of information.
- Contact Management: Create and maintain up-to-date phone and contact lists for staff and families.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively offer and implement unique ideas to enhance office efficiency and reduce reliance on manual labor.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Technical Expert: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and expert knowledge of various hardware/software systems.
- Problem Solver: A keen ability to problem-solve and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Organizer: Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to pivot between competing priorities.
- Interpersonal: Kind, friendly, and empathetic , with a commitment to maintaining privacy and discretion.
- Safety: Standard First Aid CPR C, or willingness to receive training.
