Responsibilities

Ensure quality control, timely construction, and completion of homes

• Perform general labour duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, lifting and digging
• Perform basic carpentry and other tasks as required, to assist with the timely completion of homes
• Completion of quality control standards by completing checklists on a timely basis
• Providing support to the warranty team when required
• Maintain and enforce site cleanliness with trade partners
• Adhere to and enforce the company’s safety policies and procedures
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned

Requirements

• Experience in the residential home building industry (Considered an asset)
• Valid drivers license and willingness to use personal truck for work purposes (Allowance provided)
• Driven, focused and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of building codes and construction methods
• Comfortable using basic hand tool and power tools
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and operate efficiently

Certifications

• Certificate/degree/diploma in construction related field (asset, not required)
• WHMIS 2015 (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
• Emergency or standard first aid (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
• Fall Protection Certificate (required, will be provided if applicant does not have)
