Summary:
As the Field Service Valve Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites and servicing, testing, adjusting, trouble-shooting, repairing, maintenance, removal, installation and inspection of safety and relief valves. Factory training and certification will be provided to the successful candidate. Overtime and travel required at short notice.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel for work when necessary
- Mechanical experience necessary/Electrical experience considered an asset
- Demonstrate sound judgement with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected
- Able to make accurate and intelligible reports (written and verbal)
- Previous experience with measurement devices and test gauges considered an asset
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Able to assume responsibility and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions
- Excellent organizational and customer relation skills
- Must have pride in workmanship
- Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods and ISED Security Clearance as a condition of employment
- Offshore Certifications would be an asset
