We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, supporting smooth financial operations across the company. The successful candidate will have duties such as but not limited to:

• Enter and match invoices daily
• Notify Purchasing of pricing and PO discrepancies on a daily basis
• Track vendor statements and obtain missing information
• Monitor invoice due dates and process vendor payments within terms
• Issue invoices to appropriate departments for approval and follow up on status
• Maintain accurate and current records of on hold invoices
• Ensure open PO receipts are transacted and files maintained
• Assist with archiving historical documents.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience handling high volumes of invoices in a deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic accounting training or education preferred.
• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics and BisTrack (or similar software) is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent internal customer service.
