Location: Brewers Village, 1415 Valley Drive

Hours: Part time positions available. Up to 35-hours/ week.

Wage: Starts at $17.60/ hour

WE’RE HIRING! Join the Brew Crew at Brewer’s Village – Kenora’s newest hangout spot! Operated by Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, we are serving up gourmet hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream by the scoop, sweet treats, sunshine, and good vibes all summer long, in a lively outdoor beer garden and community hub.

We are a locally owned and operated company in Kenora, Ontario that provides distinctive dining options and excellent craft beer!

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and friendliness, creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere for guests at the Brewers Village
• Offer suggestions and menu guidance to customers
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of the brewery and our beer
• Master the proper beer pouring techniques and cocktail consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized area and service counter
• Operate POS system accurately; process payments via cash, credit, or debit
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and good judgment
• Communicate clearly and positively with teammates and guests
• Execute daily opening and closing duties, including opening/closing the Sea Can when needed
• Open to working during special events, which can include after hours
• Contribute to the overall team effort by completing tasks as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB

• Previous customer service experience is an asset (but not required)
• Evening and weekend availability
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be Smart Serve Certified (ON) or willing to complete certification.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Positive, upbeat personality and willingness to learn
• Ability to stay motivated, move quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to stand, walk and lift for extended periods.
• Proven ability to build rapport with teammates and guests alike
• Organized, task-focused, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities
