About the role
Come and put your talent to good use in a workshop where rigor and passion for the profession are part of the DNA.
A family-owned company, firmly established in Laval and known for the quality of its operations and the stability of its team, is looking to add two CNC machinists to its workshop to ensure succession.
Since 1970, it has been producing series parts with consistency and precision. In a 40,000 ft2 space, clean, bright and structured, more than 20 machine tools are in operation, and the team stands out for its longevity-- on average, more than 20 years of seniority. Here, know-how is respected, and the profession has its place.
Your daily life:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
- Prepare for start-up and select the tooling needed for the manufacture of large parts.
- Adjust and operate digital milling machines.
- Program directly on the machine.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of machining processes.
- Perform regular dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:
- DEP in machining techniques and ASP Numerical Control and/or DEC in mechanical engineering or any other training deemed relevant.
- Minimum 3 years and more of CNC machining experience.
- Experience with Mazak, and/or Okuma, and/or Takumi machines.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controllers.
- Good command of reading plans and measurement tools.
- Attention to detail and rigor.
Salary: $26 to $30 per hour depending on your experience
Schedule: Daytime, Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Status: Permanent
