About the role
Bedard Resources is looking for an Accounts Payable Technician for a temporary assignment. In this key role, you will be responsible for the complete processing of supplier invoices, ensuring their accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines. You will work closely with project teams, procurement, and suppliers in a dynamic environment focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy.
- Perform 3-way matching (purchase order, receipt, invoice).
- Verify the compliance of invoices according to internal policies and contractual agreements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.
- Process payments (cheques, wire transfers, and electronic payments) within the required timeframes.
- Respond to supplier inquiries and proactively manage disputes.
- Contribute to process improvement and optimization of the Dynamics 365 F&O system.
- Perform any other related tasks as required by the role.

Requirements:
- DEC in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Experience in a project or engineering environment (an asset).
- Proficiency in an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, spreadsheets, validations).
- Knowledge of the complete accounts payable cycle.
Salary: Between $28 and $33 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Day shift, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
