Do you want to deepen your legal knowledge in a stimulating environment, work on complex and varied cases, and have the opportunity to participate in court representations?
Join the AMF's litigation department. With its unique role in Quebec, the AMF offers an unparalleled practice environment where you can work at the heart of important legal and financial issues.
Your role During your internship, you will have the opportunity to acquire and deepen your knowledge in various areas of law, including securities law, as well as administrative, criminal and civil law.
You will be called upon to support the existing team of lawyers, all under the supervision of your internship supervisor.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Apply specific laws, such as the Securities Act, the Financial Sector Regulation Act, the Insurers Act, the Financial Products and Services Distribution Act, and the Derivatives Act
- Conduct legislative, jurisprudential and doctrinal research
- Drafting various legal documents, including research memos and procedures
- Participate in the various stages of litigation cases, including preparations, witness interviews, representations and hearings before the Financial Markets Tribunal and the courts of general jurisdiction

Your talents and expertise The person being sought must be:
- Eligible for the professional training program of the Quebec Bar School and ready to complete her internship
- Intellectually curious and motivated to learn
- Possesses a good analytical and synthesis mind

- Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team
- Capable of demonstrating sound judgment and solving complex problems
