Make an impact with our Enterprise Risk – Technology Risk Services (TRS) team as a Co-op Student in September 2026 (8 months). Our diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist clients in mitigating risk. As a trusted advisor, you’ll establish an effective system of internal controls that safeguard clients’ assets, improve financial reporting reliability and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Develop technical skills in TRS including: SOC audits, data analysis, IT internal audits, IT external audits, pre/post implementation reviews, IT risk management and governance to our broad base of clients
- Develop the knowledge of evaluating the risks and the adequacy of business process controls and the associated with IT infrastructure, applications, databases and interfaces controls
- Participate in IT audit planning
- Conduct and document the IT auditing procedures with sufficient detail
- Review operating systems and application environments
- Conduct data analytics using audit tools/software
- Attend walkthroughs and communicate with client to understand their business, processes, systems and controls
- Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, impacts and recommendations
- Collaborate with client engagement teams and client contacts to build relationships
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
- Maintain flexibility to travel and work in person at our office, as necessary
Skills and Experience

Working towards completing any of the courses in accounting information systems, Social Media Analytics, Predictive analytics, Cybersecurity, Business analytics

Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred)

Working towards prerequisites for admission into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP)

Audit and/or IT Audit experience is considered an asset

Previous accounting related office experience is considered an asset

Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
-
Experience with data analytics tools such as ACL, IDEA, PowerBI, or equivalent is desired

Desire to learn new technologies
