Work with the WITT (Women in Trades and Technology) facilitator to coordinate and implement WITT programs.

Provide instruction in programs as required.
-
Build relationships with and deliver presentations to students, program heads, instructors, community partners, and school divisions.
-
Provide campus WITT communications through media relations, social media etc.
-
Provide appropriate documentation and follow-up reports.
-
Provide guidance and advice to girls and women in respect to women in careers in trades or technology.
-
Some travel required. Some evening and weekend work required.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Specific Accountabilities
Duties
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
-
Grade 12 or equivalent.
-
Completion of a journeyperson certificate in a recognized trade and/or recognized technology diploma or degree.
-
Two years’ recent and relevant work experience (within the last five years).
-
Familiarity with WITT philosophy and operations.
-
Ability to work with girls and women in a structured/non-structured setting.
-
Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
-
Effective instructional ability.
-
Effective interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
-
Training and/or experience in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates valuing diversity.
