• Food Safety Course.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Good organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and multi-tasking skills

• Proven experience in taking personal responsibility for seeking information from various sources enables others’ learning through sharing experiences, coaching, and mentoring.

• Works independently as well as collaboratively within the team

• Able to work weekends up to full-time hours.

• Excellent attendance required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Do production numbers for portioning

• Portioning of mcd/puree meats and vegetables

• All special labels/portioning like vegetarian/low potassium/gluten free/allergies/plain

• Serves food to residents according to individual diets and preferences. Observes time limits for meal serving. Maintains food at proper serving temperature/ Help Cook.

• Is understanding of all therapeutic diets.

• Clears plates and trays, loads and operates dishwasher. Cleans pots, pans and cooking utensils as per procedure.

• Participates in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food, including leftovers.

• Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control.

• Participates in facility meetings as assigned. Attends in-service education programs including all mandatory and on-line in-services.

Other duties as assigned by Manager.
