Job Description – Construction Proposal Coordinator
Reports To
Director of Projects
Summary
Working with a multi-departmental team, the Construction Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the development of sales proposals for high needs projects utilizing a solution oriented, collaborative approach. This position manages the proposal development process from concept to completion; supports special projects and will be a key contributor to Norseman’s sales initiatives

Job Duties
- Support the Sales team during the early stages of sales opportunities
- Develop proposal strategies by identifying customer requirements and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
- Manage the end‑to‑end proposal development process, ensuring deadlines are met through effective planning, prioritization, and time management
- Coordinate and facilitate proposal milestone meetings, including strategy sessions, kick‑offs, and reviews
- Compile complete and accurate RFP submissions, including quality documentation, operational plans, and pricing (with support from Quality, Construction, and Supply Chain)
- Ensure proposals reflect Norseman’s capabilities, brand standards, and commitment to quality
- Continuously improve proposal content, messaging, and internal processes
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer questions and inquiries
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
Working Relationships
- Reports directly to the Director of Projects
- Interfaces directly Engineering, Sales, Logistics, Construction Departments, COO
- External suppliers in partnership with Supply Chain
- External customers in partnership with Sales Department
Requirements

- Post-secondary education or 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Background in construction and knowledge of construction terminology is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and shift priorities as necessary.
- Accurate and thorough; looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Pro-active and self-directed; yet able to work as part of a team.
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate collaboratively with customers and team members.
- Experience in Construction and/or manufacturing
- Proficiency in the following areas: time management, written and verbal communication, problem solving and the use of Excel and Word
Work Conditions
- This is an office position located in the Saskatoon Norseman Structures facility.
- This is a salaried position with a normal 40-hour workweek.
- Office setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; occasional overtime may be required. Flexibility in work schedule may be arranged.
