Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst manages RFx’s, suppliers, and collects and analyzes data related to the products and services of the company. The Analyst will develop insight and expertise in the categories managed over time.

Supports the team in the procurement of goods and services for technology, travel, fleet, MRO, and facilities to ensure they are in line with the Global Procurement policy.

Leads and supports sourcing projects through a formalized process.

Supports the development of category strategies and partners with key stakeholders to review policies and procedures related to sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution.

Supports indirect cost reduction by negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

Manages the RFx’s process utilizing eProcurement tools.

Develops new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive.

Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

Facilitates supplier relationship and performance reviews to guarantee accomplishments of the business need.

Collaborates with Business Units to influence supplier engagement.

Reviews supplier reporting to validate contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA)s are being met.

Reviews and monitors supplier issues.

Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other business-related discipline (required)
- 3+ years of procurement-related experience (required)
Licenses/ Certifications
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) (preferred)
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
- Must be detail oriented and comfortable working on your own initiative
- Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Familiarity with eSourcing and eBuying tools, SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and key stakeholders. To influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, identifying, understanding and meeting internal/external stakeholder expectations
- Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables

- Compensation: $75,000-$85,000/year CAD
