About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Corporate Auditor on a full-time temporary basis (term up to 18 months) on our Audit Services team.
This hybrid position is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan , and offers the opportunity to travel across Western Canada to support audit engagements, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and execute audit engagements of increased complexity, including planning, testing, and reporting in accordance with appropriate accounting and auditing standards.
- Assign, coordinate, and review the work of Corporate Auditor I and II team members, providing coaching and guidance throughout audit engagements.
- Support Senior Corporate Auditors and the Senior Manager, Internal Audit on large and complex audit engagements.
- Perform independent and objective assessments of corporate governance, risk management processes, and internal control structures.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, systems, and accounting procedures, and communicate findings to management. Prepare audit documentation, complete complex data analysis, and contribute to audit planning, reporting, and departmental initiatives.
Who you’ll work with :
You will work closely with the Internal Audit team and report to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit. You will also collaborate with Senior Corporate Auditors and provide leadership and mentorship to junior auditors. Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce, a major in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Have 3 – 6 years of relevant accounting, auditing, or retail operations experience.
- A professional designation in accounting (CPA) or auditing (CIA) considered an asset; a combination of relevant education, experience, and/or credentials may also be considered.
