Location: Gordon Terrace Elementary School, Cranbrook, BC
Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $65,258 to $115,156, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers'
Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each
posting.
Job Summary:
Grade 2/3 Teacher
1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting April 30, 2026 or upon completion of the
posting process to June 25, 2026, or return of the incumbent.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Primary
level.
Please note that all work will be on site.
Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing
assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is
greater in the temporary job posting.
