Bring your project management expertise and collaborative leadership to the Ministry of Health's Health Capital Investment Branch. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the ministry's review and approval processes for health capital projects across assigned regions. About the job

As a member of the Capital Project Unit, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the end to end review of health capital redevelopment project submissions.
• Assess proposals to ensure alignment with ministry priorities, policy direction, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with Home and Community Care Support Services organizations/Ontario Health to ensure capital planning reflects local service needs.
• Represent the health capital program in discussions with partners, stakeholders, and cross ministry working groups.
• Provide strategic advice, analysis, and recommendations to support decision making.

You have:

• experience managing multiple complex projects with competing priorities.
• the ability to provide clear direction, support team collaboration, and offer strategic advice to advance project outcomes.

Program and Policy Knowledge

You can:

• understand health capital planning, funding models, and governance structures.
• interpret and apply legislation, policy, and program requirements to project assessments.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management

You can:

• build strong, productive relationships with internal and external partners.
• demonstrate sound judgement and political acuity when navigating sensitive or high profile issues.

Communication

You can:

• communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
• prepare briefings, provide advice, and deliver presentations to diverse audiences

Analytical and Technical Skills

You have:

• strong research, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
• experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications to support analysis and reporting.
