About the role
Permanent Full Time
We are seeking a Director, Technical Solutions - SAP Security & Governance to establish and lead security, audit, and governance across our SAP ecosystem. This role will provide dedicated leadership for SAP security strategy, technology controls, and supplier governance, ensuring a secure and compliant platform as we transition to S/4HANA and the cloud.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for embedding security, audit readiness, and governance by design across the SAP platform. This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will operate comfortably in complexity, bring clarity where ambiguity exists, and ensure that operational discipline and delivery outcomes remain tightly connected.
What you will do
- Lead the SAP Security & Governance function, including technology controls, audit, and risk management
- Establish and own SAP security strategy, standards, and policies
- Drive audit readiness and remediation, addressing aged findings and strengthening technology control maturity
- Lead strategic supplier governance of SAP as a partner
- Partner with enterprise risk, platform engineering and application teams to ensure secure-by-design solutions
What you will bring
-
5+ years’ experience as a technology leader and with either a business unit or a technology role
-
5+ years hands-on experience as a GRC lead within an SAP ecosystem

Strong knowledge of SAP GRC, access controls, and security architecture
-
Experience in building multi geo teams and managing complex workforces
-
Experience managing technology risk, compliance, and audit engagements
-
Proven leadership experience in governance and control environments
-
Experience with vendor and supplier governance
-
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-level accountability
-
Demonstrated ability to influence across teams without relying on formal authority.

Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.
The base salary for this position is between $128,200 - $178,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
