We are looking for dedicated and skilled workers to join our team immediately!
Successful applicants will be reliable, have their own transportation and be available for shifts starting 6AM.
ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Millwork Production Manager, the Production Worker - Carpenter performs skilled labour, material handling, tool work and assembly duties involved in the manufacture of custom retail fixtures. This is a full-time position at our facility in Campbell Heights, Surrey BC.
Shift will be 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing

Operate woodworking machines including saws, milling and sanding machines safely and efficiently

Ensure that products meet project specifications, making adjustments as necessary Perform general labour tasks, including clean-up duties and materials handling

Read and interpret basic drawings or production instructions

Assemble products according to specifications

Maintain company's quality, safety, and productivity standards

Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg) as required

Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Post secondary training or apprenticeship hours in carpentry
-
3-5 years of experience in woodworking
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23kg)

Positive attitude and team-first mindset
-
Ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and work under pressure
-
Detail-oriented with basic math and problem-solving skills

Good verbal communications skills
