The** Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese ** (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. JOB DESCRIPTION
Corpus Christi School is a Catholic elementary school located in Vancouver, B.C.
This one-year Grade 2 teaching position will be offered from September 2026 to June 2027. There is the possibility that this short-term position may be extended into the 2027-2028 school year. Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and demonstrate competency with the grade 2 curriculum, i.e. inquiry-based learning and interactive technology and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Applicants must have experience with early literacy and numeracy skills, as well as various intervention strategies and processes and have familiarity delivering the sacramental program (First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion). The successful candidate will assist with extra-curricular programs and activities.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
