The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting financial information through the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and analysis that support the delivery of external and internal financial information in accordance with IFRS.

The role is located in the vibrant community of Flin Flon, MB on a 5 days on/2 days off schedule.

The position includes a competitive compensation package which includes benefits, pension, profit sharing, employee share purchase plan among others.

Accountabilities:

• Preparation of cost reporting and budgets
• Preparation of sales calculations and resulting journal entries
• Treasury and Banking
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• SOx and Internal Controls

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in business, commerce or accounting
• CPA designation or a CPA student working towards CPA designation
• Ability to read and understand accounting policies (including IFRS)
• Skilled knowledge in the use of required technology systems
• Analytical, problem solving and technical skills
• Effective communication, planning and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict timelines
