BIM/Revit Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and maintain parametric Revit families for GRD product line at LOD 200-350
• Develop Revit families for custom Revit requests to support sales and Application team.
• Work with the Application Engineering team and Software team to identify BIM/Revit needs of the market.
• Establish Revit drafting standards and work instructions for Price Industries GRD product families.
• Establish QA processes for Revit families.
• Set up and maintain third party BIM libraries accounts with Price Industries Revit content
• Assist with the training of other Revit resources, internal and external.
• Provide reasonable and accurate time estimates based on existing backlog and customers’ needs.
• Send acknowledgments for all Revit requests received with a time estimate for completion.
• Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Proficient with Autodesk Revit software, with a focus on Revit 2023
• Experience creating fully parametric Revit families for MEP applications. (Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred).
• Knowledge of drafting standards for MEP.
• Certificate or diploma in Architectural/Engineering/Drafting program is an asset.
• HVAC Industry experience is an asset.
• Experience developing HVAC Revit families is a large asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Process driven, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
