About the role
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Management, the Revenue Analyst will play a central role in maximizing Hotel X Toronto’s revenue and profitability. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, monitoring market trends and assist DORM in providing strategic revenue decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen analytical mind, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights clearly.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the analyzing revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory.
- Assists in preparing forecasts, including budgets and projections and evaluate sales strategy effectiveness.
- Develops and leverages analytical tools and systems to maximize overall hotel revenue and profit.
- Manage rooms and function space inventory, ensuring the proper allocation and restrictions to optimize total hotel revenues and profits.
- Conduct competitive set analysis and monitor market trends and dynamics.
- Inform the DORM of any obvious market trends.
- Generates and deliver accurate and timely results through reports, presentations, and other relevant formats.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
Salary
$60,000 - $70,000/year

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Revenue Management, financial analysis, and pricing.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Must be flexible with work shifts and confident in working with a diverse range of personalities in a dynamic environment.
