Position: Agricultural Inspector Location: Fort Qu'Apelle (SK) or Killam (AB) with first three months of training in Fort Qu'Apelle - relocation assistance is available Salary: $33-$43 per hour based on years of experience with excellent benefits (let me tell you more!) Start Date: This is an urgent role and we are looking for candidates who can start end of August 2026 Our client is seeking an Agricultural Inspector specializing in the testing, inspecting and certification of grain products being transported in rail cars and trucks. This company is a global leader in their field and growing their operations across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Key Responsibilities: - Take and/or review orders and field instructions. - Attend to commodity movements that involve loading and unloading rail cars or trucks. - Perform routine equipment calibration, verification, and function checks. - Using the specified methodology and measuring tools, carry out inspection of grain products in rail cars and trucks. - Verify and communicate the results obtained and record them in the appropriate format (print or electronic) to ensure the information is valid and traceable. - Keep work areas, records, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition. - Monitor the availability of supplies needed for these processes and report any supply needs to the Senior Inspector. - Carry out all the above responsibilities and any other assigned tasks in a way that supports and follows the Company's QMS, using good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy. Qualification, Skills & Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent - Basic mathematics and computer skills including MS Office - Proficient in CGG - 3 - 4 years of related experience - Knowledge of a specific product industry or technician level - Thrives in a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy in the quality control process - Physically able to stand for long periods of time and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Please send your resume in Word format to Ilse den Besten at ilse.denbesten@quantum.ca.
