About the Company: John Ross & Sons Ltd. is a fifth generation, family owned, metal recycler. The company is the largest metal recycler in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 80 years. John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, along with accepting a wide range of recyclable material to process. We are currently seeking energetic and safety minded drivers to join our team based in Halifax. What We Offer: Health, dental and vision benefits Company Performance Bonus Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program RRSP Match Program Competitive Salary Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Help to transport metal products across the Maritimes Ensuring safety and security of cargo Hauling various metal recycling products Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries Properly record hours and mileage in logbook Maintain cleanliness of vehicle Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management Qualifications and Skills: Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is mandatory Clean Drivers Abstract is mandatory Minimum 2 years driving experience in a Class 1 or Class 3 role in Canada is mandatory Safety driven mindset Clear communication skills Comfortable driving in all weather conditions Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Exigences
