Location: Mississauga, Ontario (onsite) Salary Range: $55,500.00 - 79,300.00 CAD Annual Vacancy Type: Existing position Schedule: Full-time As our next Tool and Die Maker, you’ll be at the forefront of preparing tooling and tool rigs for production use, ensuring quality parts are produced efficiently and cost-effectively. Your expertise in tool and die making, CNC machining, and continuous improvement will be crucial in supporting our operations team. What You’ll Be Doing: • Solve operational problems and seek continuous improvement opportunities. • Provide technical support for processes, products, and equipment. • Ensure smooth communication and hand-offs between shifts. • Participate in QOS continuous improvement meetings to address quality and operational issues. • Assist in training and development of new team members. • Participate in 5S activities and maintain compliance with Johnson Electric Quality and EHS policies (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001). • Perform other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For: • Ontario Trade Certificate as a Tool & Die Maker. • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing facility. • Experience with powder metal tooling preferred. • Minimum 2 years of CNC Milling/Lathe experience. • Experience using/programming Heidenhain and/or MAZATROL controllers. • Reliable, mature individual with strong teamwork skills. Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives. • Familiarity with advanced CNC programming techniques.
