Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, Home Hardware, is seeking to fill an Outside Contractor Salesperson position to join their team at their Conception Bay South, NL, location. Position Summary Kelligrews Home Hardware Building Centre is looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Outside Contractor Sales Representative to grow our presence in the residential construction market. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, and helping contractors, builders, and developers succeed. You'll work directly with professional contractors on everything from day-to-day material needs to large residential construction projects and new home builds. In this role, you will actively seeking new business opportunities throughout the Greater St. John's and CBS region. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys working independently, and is backed by a knowledgeable and supportive team committed to helping customers succeed. What You'll Do: Develop new business relationships with residential builders, developers, contractors, and renovation companies. Grow and manage a portfolio of contractor accounts while identifying opportunities to expand existing business. Work closely with contractors throughout all stages of residential construction projects, from planning and quoting through project completion. Visit job sites, contractor offices, and construction projects to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities. Collaborate with contractors on new home builds and renovation projects by providing product recommendations, pricing, and project support. Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable business. Stay informed on local construction activity and proactively identify upcoming projects. Partner with the inside sales, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. What We're Looking For: Experience in residential construction, building materials, contractor sales, or a related industry. A proven ability to build relationships and generate new business. Experience working with builders, developers, contractors, or commercial customers is considered a strong asset. An existing network of contractor or builder relationships is an asset, but not required. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Highly organized with experience managing multiple opportunities and priorities.
