Job Overview: Employment Type: Assignment Based Role Location: Scarborough / Greater Toronto Area Pay (In person) About Opportunity: Our client is a growing and dynamic leader in the occupational health and safety industry. We are looking for an experienced Safety Trainer in the Scarborough / Greater Toronto Area to help organizations create safer work environments. In this role, you will deliver impactful safety training programs that align with our mission to promote workplace well-being and compliance. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver and instruct engaging safety training sessions tailored to client needs. * Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve program content. * Collaborate with clients to identify safety training requirements. * Maintain accurate records of training activities and certifications. * Stay updated on the latest occupational health and safety regulations. * Promote a culture of safety awareness within client organizations. Qualifications: * Must have prior training experience in Construction industry * Proven experience in occupational health and safety training or related field * Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and best practices * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Ability to assess learner needs and adapt training methods accordingly. * Certification in occupational health and safety is preferred. * Certification in usage of Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, Swing stage or Boom Lift is an asset * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must have a personal vehicle to travel to training locations.
